SENATE URGE BUHARI TO PROSECUTE BOKO HARAM SPONSORS

On Wednesday, the Nigerian senate admonished President Muhammadu Buhari to hasten up on the prosecution of the alleged sponsors of the terrorists grouped, Boko Haram.
This was disclosed at a press conference after the issue was raised by the Senate Committee on Army in a closed door meeting with the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, who led other generals to defend the 2021 budget of the Army.
Chairman of the committee Senator Ali Ndume, who spoke on behalf of his colleagues, said Buhari should emulate the leadership of the United Arab Emirates which recently prosecuted and jailed 6 identified sponsors of the deadly sect.

The news has been making round on social media, with the citizens calling for the prosecution of the sponsors who were identified as notable men in government.
