There has been  a lot of speculations and theories flying around that cannot explain the forces behind the invasion and looting of Oba  Akiolu’s palace seemly trending aftermath of the shooting of #endSars protesters in Lekki axis of Lagos state, southwest Nigeria. A sense of disbelief have continue to envelop families and friends of Alhaji Abdulazeez Adekunle Lawal  popularly known and called Kunle Poly who is highly embarrassed by a well calculated attempt by vested interest to drag his name in the arson of some places in lagos including the tested stool of Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Babatunde Osuolale Aremu Akiolu.

The ill-motivated desire to blame this unpopular actions on the silent power tussle in NURTW is regrettable and must be jettisoned immediately. The man seen in the video that went viral carrying the Staff of Office of the Oba Akiolu is not known to be a supporter and have no connection with Kunle Poly.

A close source noted that M C Oluomo had since shown generosity of spirit to Kunle Poly and was working together with him on determined interest of NURTW in Lagos. The so called news peddler, Remi Oyeyemi and his sponsors should be called to order over the attempt to rubbish the hard earned name of Kunle Poly into this ill timed undercurrent moves. The Lagos NURTW is currently enjoying a well deserved calm and any attempt to link Kunle Poly to the attack in the palace is unnecessary.

Kunle Poly, an Isale-Eko indigene who is also a Prince has reportedly distance himself and condemn in strong terms the fallacious accusations and the invasion of our well respected royal father who have shown leadership in our traditional institution and peaceful coexistence Lagosians have experienced in his time. He unreservedly condemn the acts of sacrilege committed by the culprits who desecrated our cultural heritage, adding that; the Palace is the custodian of centuries’ old priceless and irreplaceable heritage artifacts that have been passed down through generations and should not be disrespected irrespective of whatever the issue.

The Lagos state governor Sanwolu, traditional leaders, various youth commanders and top hierarchy of Lagos state NURTW should immediately step in to prevent that which ordinarily would not take place and create a dynamic understanding and investigation in a context to unravel the truth and set the record straight.
