The International Advertising Association (IAA) Nigeria Chapter will on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 engage marketing communications practitioners in a programme tagged High Pitch Conversations.
The programme, theme “COVID-19 and the Power of Empathy Marketing”, seeks to review the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on businesses and will focus on how industry leaders in marketing communications can use empathy in creating conversation with clients and consumers in times of crisis.
“The adverse effect of the global pandemic on brands communication and the emerging wave of consciousness for higher purpose and intentional responsibility makes it necessary to examine the new ways to wining and converting customers,” Dr. Tunji Olugbodi, President, IAA Nigeria and Host, stated.
Dr. Olugbodi, who noted that many are already bouncing back from the precipice, further said: “The High Pitch Conversations will focus on how leading brands and practitioners are using empathy to create new conversations to drive real value.” He called on all to join the conversation.
The conversation will have as discussants, Fredrik Borestrom, President, IAA UK & Head of Agency, International, LinkedIn; Temitope Jemerigbe, Chief Executive Officer, DKK Nigeria and Feyi Olubodun, Founder/Managing Partner, Open Squares & Author,The Villager.
The event will be held via Zoom platform.
