The residents of aboru has lamented that a uniform Gun police officer has carted away motorcycles for sale in one of the street of Aboru, named Raji rasaki street during the iyana ipaja riot and with the series of gun shot to chase people away with fear.
The resident said the Lagos state government has made the laws to save lives and properties but the government still need to make good findings and monitoring so well on these uniform police officers who in the name of enforcing laws carting away the valuables of Lagos Residents and business men.
INVASION MENACE: IT IS AGAINST THE LAW, NOT TO ENFORCE THE LAW.
“If the Lagos State government is not careful and something pro-active is not done now, a time would come, when the over soaring population of the okada and kekemaruwa operators in the state, would invade, attack and consume the Lagos State government secretariat itself, since they had already attempted and achieved it with the Apapa Local Government Secretariat.
A time would come, when the Lagos State governor’s convoy itself would not be able to move freely and safely in the state anymore.
Lagos can’t ever be safe, sane, secured, attractive, competitive, conducive and beautiful, if the uniform police officers with guns in their hands must continue to be allowed by the state in this democratic society of Nigeria .
This high level of illegal invasion and operational crudity is very dangerous and not good for the ideal survival of Lagos and its occupants.
It is a time bomb!
It is not good for that greater Lagos mega city status of Governor Babajide SanwoOlu and his government has been promising to be for all Lagosians.
However, any society, where regulation cannot work, lawlessness cannot stop, and it is against the law for the Lagos State not to enforce its laws.
