Dangote Truck has been set ablaze for crushing a wheelbarrow pusher to death.
News Rain Nigeria reports that a truck belonging to the Dangote Group of Company has been confirmed to have knocked a wheelbarrow pusher to death in Onitsha.
Confirming the sad occurrence, the Anambra Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Commander. Andrew Ayodele Kumapayi says that a Dangote Truck has been set ablaze for crushing a wheelbarrow pusher to death along Onitsha – Owerri Road.

Commander Andrew affirmed that the accident happened at exactly 09:55 am on Tuesday, 10th November 2020, when a male adult whose identity is yet to be ascertained, was crushed to death in a fatal road traffic crash that involving a Dangote Truck without a registration number near Zenith Bank Onitsha, part of Anambra State.
Part of the accident statement that was released to the effect was stated by an eyewitness, who said the Truck driver slipped out of his lane due to excessive speeding and crushed a pedestrian who is well known in the community hence the angry youths prevented by setting the truck ablaze when the driver was nowhere to be found.
The statement stated that the Federal Road Safety Corps rescue team from Upper Iweka Outpost was immediately mobilized for rescue operations only to be intercepted by the angry youths who took the Corpse of the victim away.
Commander Kumapayi through the statement warned motorists especially truck drivers to abide by the stipulated speed limits in built-up areas to avoid unnecessary road traffic Crashes.
The Commander also make use of the medium to express his heartfelt condolences to the deceased family, while also urges the pedestrians to always make use of the pedestrian bridges where necessary.
