Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, on Monday presented the Year 2021 Budget at the Oyo State House of Assembly Chambers.
He presented a budget estimate of N266.6 billion naira tagged “Budget of Continued Consolidation”.
During the budget presentation, the governor told the Assembly, that the state has made significant progress in its drive across all sectors and that the budget will meet the expectation of the people of Oyo state.
Makinde highlighted several success recorded in the current fiscal year added that the state government remains bullish in its approach towards consolidating on the its achievements to achieve greater result in the performance of 2021.
He maintained that sequel to the projected 70 percent budget performance in the 2020 budget, the state has however been able to perform fairly above average of 53.16 percent noting that the difference in the projected budget performance level and the recorded performance level was due largely to the novel COVID-19 pandemic.
Makinde said the budget Is N12bn Naira above the the last budget.
